Widows engage in a classroom-style training regarding business and entrepreneurship. With the guidance of our staff, they develop their own small business plan.

After completing the training, widows are provided with a small loan to fund their business. With the necessary knowledge and support, she can begin working towards a sustainable future.

VOCATIONAL TRAINING

Widows and orphans can participate in a variety of courses to learn job specific and important life skills, including hygiene and skills to improve their own subsistence farming. These hands-on courses take place at our vocational training center, and include agriculture, animal husbandry, building compost and rainwater collection systems, and sewing.
