The first cases of COVID-19 in Burundi were confirmed on April 1st, 2020. The Sister Connection staff had already started teaching widows and orphans about prevention, which is paramount in a country with very few medical resources. During this challenging time, we remain focused on serving the widows and orphans.

We will do everything we can to ensure our staff stays healthy while they are on the front-lines of this ministry. 

Hand Soap & Face Masks

We are distributing hand soap to widows and stressing that they wash their hands often.  Our sewing students are making face masks that are being distributed to widows, orphans and staff.

Food & Water

Sister Connection is on the move, from region to region, across Burundi to distribute much needed food and bottled water.
